I received my computer today (Finally!!! I think that UPS used the "Pony Express"!!! ). Everything seems to be working fine!!! I really want to thank you for everything! You and your company should be proud. You completed the repair in even more than a "timely fashion", and for that I am completely appreciative! I have taken the liberty of emailing Apple, and expressing to them what a fantastic choice they made when they "brought you" and your expertise "on board"! Again, thank you so very much. Just wanted to pass on to you news of the very positive experience I had as a recent customer of Comdoctor.
My Apple iMac had died. I had previously taken it to another Augusta repair center, and while they had done an OK job, it took a long time to diagnose, a long time to order parts, and a long time to get it back--3 + weeks, if memory serves me correctly. And it was always a hassle getting to speak to someone live, or even a message back from them.
So when I double-checked the Apple website for an authorized repair place and I saw your company, no farther away from me, I was willing to try something new...
And I am glad I did! While the news of what was wrong with my IMac was not pleasant (motherboard dead), the speed and manner that I was handled was amazing. Friendly people, helpful with advice as to alternatives, and professional all the way. I especially want to mention your service manager, David, and Brynne , at the desk. They reminded me that I had also asked for a DVD, stuck in the optical drive "at the time of death," to be returned to me.
I hope you do value them as employees as much as I was valued as a customer.
I wish you the best of luck with Comdoctor, and will be sure to tell all my Mac buddies in the Central Maine area about you."
